Work has been busy lately and things have been an upheaval. The storm has quietened down… so this is the time to pick up the pieces and move on. I discovered friendships that I wasn’t aware about too. Now this is the moment to focus on improving my skills and sharpening those tools!

Here are some commissioned work — if I am not wrong, there was this illo that was used 3-4 times in a roll.

Blog got hack again

Not sure why but my blog has been hacked and tampered with several times in a row this week. When I accessed my blog this morning, I received a error message that said something like parse error on line 18 of my index.php. Downloading and opening up the file revealed a string of illegible gibberish. Without further delay I replaced it with my backup. It works. I followed up my changing my directory password for my hosting account and so forth. Since I am a very low-tech guy, that’s about all I can do. If such thing occurs again, I will be darned.

Anyway here’s a new self portrait drawn as Vincent van Gogh my fav artist after he cut off his ear.

Blog Back Online and new artwork

It seems that my blog is back online. Thanks to all the hours put in yesterday to resolve the issue of being listed as an attack site. It is a good thing it is not lasting for too long because there will be people reviewing my portfolio and I do not want to disappoint them. Here’s a quick sketch I did among all the other sketches i tried to make yesterday amidst the chaos!

I drew it with a brush pen and a Faber Castell PITT Marker (S), scanned it in and painted digitally with Photoshop.

Other than that, I am glad that I upgraded WordPress. Now it is easier to edit post, change settings and upload pictures. Cool!! =)

Kat’s a Cook, not a Crook!

Kat’s not only a cook, she’s a really great cook, fancy her reading recipes online and eventually creating her own in just a couple of months. Reckon this overseas gig is doing us both good. So, I drew up a little illustration of Kat just to make myself remember these days of great cooking.

Diving or Snorkeling

Diving and snorkeling are activities that I am pretty afraid to try. I did once in Malaysia but went back to shore almost only 10 minutes into it after seeing tons of sea urchins below me. Here’s an illustration for my snorkeling experience.
